The keypad provides access to actions such as host keys, macros, text strings, etc. with a single mouse click. You can create a custom keypad and save your changes to a .zkp file. Multiple keypad files can be created, customized, and saved. Keypad settings are saved with the session profile, although keypad files are available for use in any session.
To display the keypad (do one of the following)
Choose the View>Keypad menu command
Right-click the mouse, and then choose Keypad
To create a custom keypad
Use the Options>Keypad menu command.
Click on the Customize... button and the Customize Keypad dialog box will appear.
Select the number of Rows and Columns desired for this custom keypad.
Click the keypad button that you want to customize. The Keypad Button Properties dialog box will appear.
Enter the text to appear on the keypad button.
Click on the Action tab. Select a Category and then an item within that category. This will be the operation that will occur when the keypad button is pressed.
Click the OK button.
Repeat steps 3 through 7 as many times as necessary.
Click the Save button to save and exit.
Enter a name for your custom keypad file and press the Save button.
The name of your custom keypad file will appear in the Custom keypad File area to let you know which custom keypad file is currently being used.
Click the OK button to exit.
