Options>Hotspots

This menu command provides the ability to enable, disable, view and customize hotspots. A hotspot is a text string that can be clicked or double-clicked to perform some type of operation such as sending the Enter key to the host or executing a macro.

Enable Hotspots
This setting enables the use of the hotspots feature.

Default
Select this setting to use the preset default hotspots.

Custom (for PASSPORT PC TO HOST only)
Select this setting to use customized hotspots settings within the session profile.

External File
Select this setting to use customized hotspots settings stored in a file separate from the session profile.

Server (for PASSPORT WEB TO HOST only)
Select this setting to use the default hotspots settings configured by your administrator on the PASSPORT WEB TO HOST Server.

Customize... Button
Use this button to actually customize the hotspots definitions. When this button is pressed, the Customize Hotspots dialog box is displayed. Generally, hotspots schemes for different emulation types
should be used for the emulation type it was customized for. This is because there are different host keys for each emulation type.

Browse... Button
To select a custom hotspots file that has been previously defined, use the Browse... button to locate a custom hotspots file. Hotspots files have the .zhs file extension.

View Hotspots
When enabled, hotspots will appear highlighted on the host screen.
